No. The Mirror is a consumer app: we are not a HIPAA covered entity and we do not sign Business Associate Agreements. Your messages are encrypted in transit and at rest, access is logged, and sharing is consent-based. Working with clients in a clinical setting? Talk to us about your requirements. We never sell your data.
The Mirror tracks patient engagement metrics that map to CPT codes 98975–98981. Your billing team uses the RTM export from the provider dashboard. We provide the data — you handle the claims.
Absolutely. Most users start on their own. If they later connect with a clinic, sharing is always opt-in and consent-based. The patient controls what their provider sees.
Your data is always yours. You can export everything as JSON at any time. After cancellation, clinic data is retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted. Individual accounts persist as long as you want them.
